The third time in this hotel. Location was very good, few minutes from center. Very close to the metro-direct lift from the station to hotel- and within walking distance of the Altstadt and Marienplatz areas. The hotel staff- especially Miriam - were very knowledgeable and helpful with any questions. Hotel is clean and modern and quiet . Breakfast was expected better In comparison to other Hilton hotels at the same level. An important point to note is the special treatment we (and others) received from Mr Robjul Awal at Business Lounge. He took care of all our needs and helped us in other areas as well. Great hotel The room was spotless clean and beautifully decorated. We had a king size comfortable bed and a tv with plenty of channels. The hotel was 15 minutes walk from the center and we walked every day enjoying the way. The reception staff was very friendly and made every effort to make our stay comfortable. We used the hotel bar (called Juliet Rose bar). Great service friendly staff and a selection of quality drinks. Excellent experience!

Hotel is in a great location with the S Bahn underneath, two stops and you'll arrive at the beautiful Marienplatz. Rooms are big, clean and very quiet. Staff are helpful and warm. Highly recommend this hotel especially for families and solo travellers as it is in a beautiful neighbourhood of Munich.

Booked 3 Rooms for my family of six adults for the week of April 27th through May 4th. The hotel was very clean and rooms were very comfortable. We included breakfast an ate there each morning. The Breakfast selection was very nice and tasty and the staff excellent. I spend a lot of time in Hiltons across the US and Europe and the overall atmosphere at the Hilton Munich City was one of my favorites if not my favorite stays anywhere.. Also nice Bar and Bar staff and their cocktail selections.. Thank you Hllton Munich City for helping make our Vacation Excellent!

Really comfortable and convenient with friendly staff - we had a great experience. The hotel is situated in a quiet residential neighborhood with numerous cafes, restaurants, patisseries and just by the S-Bahn and tram. There are two grocery stores (Hit and Aldi) and a dry cleaner/drop-off laundry (textilreinigung) in the Motorama building across the street. If in need of a book, the nearby Gasteig bookstore carries some English language books. The Deutsches Museum is short walk as is the Isar River/park area. Marienplatz is an easy 15 minute walk. The rooms are comfortable and there is a nice interior courtyard. There is also a cheerful, upbeat vibe as the hotel is used by some airline flight crews and tours. The staff was very helpful in figuring out transit to several places. I think the location is especially good for families – better than staying around Marienplatz which is packed with tourists. As another person posted, the only downside was that there were only about four English-language tv channels (BBC news and CNN). However, in fairness, it must be noted this is the same situation in other hotels in Germany, Austria and the Netherlands. It is strange though as so many tourists/visitors speak English.
